We’ll get more info out as soon as we get everything in order, but what a Rose Parade yesterday.
If you were there (and chances are, judging from the crowds, you were), you’ll probably agree that everything went perfectly: the weather, the 100-float parade, the Party in the Park. We’re all so proud of how the 50th anniversary of the Rose Festival drew a huge crowd. What a way to celebrate Jackson tradition.
Here are a few more photos from the event. We’ll post more to our Flickr account as the week goes on, plus some videos of the parade on YouTube.
Here comes our American 1 Home Office float, build entirely out of giant Legos!
Frost Elementary, and a lot of other schools, were well-represented in the parade.
Rick Walton of the Walton Agency served as our Parade Marshall. Check out the sharp Jackson car.
American 1 gave out potted flowers to kids at our hospitality tent. There was a stage featuring entertainment, fair food, our Earnsley Eagle moonwalk, arts and crafts, and tons of classic cars.
Thanks to everyone who came out to help us celebrate. Let us know if you were there, and what you thought of the parade and the party, below in our comments.
